BLACK INK MAGAZINE INTERN PROGRAM
The Black Ink Magazine Intern program is a Canada wide initiative, designed to recruit, educate and provide real world experience to part-time and full-time college and university students in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Professional, Creative & Technical Writing, photography and videography.
We are building a team of young professionals to assist with the production and development of this up and coming national magazine and also to give students an opportunity to build and demonstrate skills and talents that will contribute to their long-term career goals.
The Black Ink Intern program consists of two 8-month cycles; the January to September cycle and the September to May cycle. Students are required to complete a full 8-month cycle and participate in a performance evaluation to successfully complete the program.
The internship is awarded at the end of each cycle and the amount will be based on the students’ performance. Students can receive anywhere from $100 to $1,200 towards tuition and materials for successful completion of the program and can qualify to work with Black Ink on a full-time basis upon graduation.

Advertising Account Representatives
Research & Editorial Assistants
Senior Regional Editors (8 total – 2 in each of AB, BC, QC, NS)
