Editorial Concept

To succinctly capture Black Ink Magazine’s aforementioned value proposition in light of its tag line, Black Ink Magazine is engaged in “Making (literal) Statements in Black Ink” that leave a figurative impression on the black business and professional community, which in turn create additional literal Statements in Black Ink for example, on financial statements (rather than red ink) . Essentially, there is a symbiotic relationship between the publication and its readership, which is a unique feature that fills a void in our target market.

Black Ink Magazine personified would be described as: creative, direct, insightful and empowering.  That friend who is not only knowledgeable, but loves to share their knowledge because they are inspired by the impact it has in the lives of those who appreciate it.

As it relates to the content, structure and tone of its Magazine Sections, they will be covered in either of the following manner:
